Hey y’all.
After recently graduating from financial services in a small town located in Nova Scotia I made the bold move to work abroad in Paris for the year. I’m currently working as an au pair for a wonderful family in the suburbs and have the responsibility of caring for one beautiful little girl (all of the other au pairs hate me, i swear)
I grew up living a very structured and routine life and I’m finally letting go of my “plan” and experiencing something new!
This is my first time travelling in Europe and I’ve already fell in love with the continent. I’ve traveled to Belgium, Rome and Amsterdam so far and plan on concurring at least another 5 countries before I jet off back home in July.
I honestly don’t know what I want to do with my life or where I even plan on going next. I’ve created this blog so you can follow my journey and thoughts along the way.
Nice! Being an au pair is tough but you can do it! Thanks for checking out my blog 🙂 I look forward to reading more about you’re adventures!
Hi there. Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂 Paris is a beautiful city and I’d love to live there at some point. And it truly is the city of love. I wish you well. 🙂
Cheers

Hey! I was reading your blog and loved it! How did you find the au pair job? I spent last year in France and am dying to get back.
That’s so great to hear ! I actually found my family on aupair-world.net ! It was super easy and i’ve heard that alot of the other au pairs here in Paris used it as well! I definitely can understand why you are dying to come back, i love it here!
Ok great! Do you also study there? And glad to hear that it was easy! I’d definitely looking into it.
I’m taking french lessons but only because in order to get my visa I had to enroll. They are so expensive!
I’m about to move to Paris to be an au pair again, so it’s brilliant reading about your experiences there!
